Project Manager - PM T3 Oracle ERP Implementation
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 2.5 Month(s)
Rate: $70-75/Hr
Required:
. Experience managing an Infrastructure upgrade for a large enterprise application (e.g. Oracle ERP) would be a plus
. The primary role would be to provide project management for the following activities associated with the Infrastructure upgrade of the Oracle ERP application:
. Coordination of the work effort to build the development environment, UAT environment, and Production environments (Server builds and Operating System); all the hardware was purchased in 2013
. Upgrade of the Oracle ERP database to Oracle version 11G
. Configuration changes to implement SSL and enabling shared nodes
. Patching
. Address Oracle ERP and Vertex Security Vulnerabilities
. Analysis, Design, and Build for any objects that require retrofitting as part of the upgrade
. Test Planning and updating / building scripts
. Unit testing, Functional testing, QA testing, and UA testing phases
. Updating the Service Guide documentation for the application
. Cutover activities from one environment to another
. Once Production is live, cloning the additional environments (Support, Training, QA, 2nd Development, DBA, Patch)
. Warranty Support
. Communication planning and execution
. Change Management
. In conjunction with the above, there is a second project to coordinate the remediation of some identified security vulnerabilities.
. Some of these vulnerabilities are in the Oracle ERP and Vertex applications and we would like to address them as part of the Oracle ERP Infrastructure Upgrade project.
. There are also 5 other applications that potentially have security vulnerabilities.
. For the most part, these are Windows or Linux Server patches, Operating system patches, and/or database patches that need to be applied. This resource would be expected to do the following:
. Work with security, the technical Infrastructure teams and the business to build a plan to address these vulnerabilities
Note:
- We don't work in layers, & directly works with employer / sponsor of the candidate. However, we do accept referral.*
- We will need Work Authorization Copy (H1B / EAD / GC) at the time of Rate Confirmation itself, without which - We can't submit ahead.
